Azure Certifications: Study Tips

As a newbie in the tech industry, I embarked on a journey to acquire my first certifications, in Azure fundamentals, Data Fundamentals, and AI fundamentals. These certifications, offered by Microsoft, are in high demand in the technology industry and can open doors to new career opportunities.

The  Azure  Fundamentals certification covers concepts such as cloud services, Azure architecture, and security.  It also includes an understanding of Azure pricing and support, and how to manage and monitor Azure resources.

Data Fundamentals certification, on the other hand, covers the basics of data management,  data analysis, and data visualization. it covers concepts such as data governance, data modeling, and data warehousing.

Lastly, AI Fundamentals certification covers the basics of AI, including machine learning, deep learning, and natural language processing. It
covers concepts such as supervised and unsupervised learning, common algorithms, and the overall AI development process.

One of the key strategies that worked for me was waking up at 4am Monday to Friday to study. I know that waking up can be difficult, but it allowed me to make the most of my time and avoid distractions. I was able to focus on studying before the day's obligations and responsibilities began. Additionally, by starting my day by studying, I was able to retain the information better and it helped me to be more productive throughout the day.

To prepare for the exam, it's important to take advantage of all the available resources. Microsoft offers official study materials, including a free online course for Azure fundamentals, Data fundamentals, and AI fundamentals. These courses provide a comprehensive overview of the concepts and technologies covered in the exams and include quizzes and practice tests to help gauge your understanding.

I also used  AnkiDroid flashcards which were an amazing tool to help me memorize the fast amount of abbreviations, and protocols, and truly learn the concepts and not just memorize them. There are a lot of tutorials on how to make your own AnkiDroid flashcards and I strongly suggest you do, as these as great tools for studying.

It's also beneficial to seek out additional learning materials such as exampro, this website was a great resource it has amazing practice tests and they are significantly cheaper than the official Microsoft practice tests offered on their website. Some other learning materials are online tutorials, blogs, and forums. These resources can provide you with additional perspectives and real-world examples to help you better understand the material.

Furthermore, it's essential to practice what you learn.  Hands-on experience will help you solidify your understanding of the concepts and technologies covered in the exams. Microsoft offers a free Azure account that can be used for learning and development purposes. This account is called the Azure Free Account, and it provides access to a limited set of Azure services and a certain amount of free credit. Additionally, Azure Free Account also gives you access to a number of tutorials and learning resources that can help you get started with Axure and build your skills.

Overall, passing the Azure Fundamentals, Data Fundamentals, and AI Fundamentals certification requires hard work and dedication, but by waking up early and using all the available resources, you can increase your chances of success.
